This is a logo design I created for the 'Above Gallery' in Nottingham. I helped to run projects from the gallery as well as organise events and create artwork to be sold. The gallery was run as a 'not for profit organisation' and encouraged artists to show work who wouldn't normally get the opportunity to do so. We also tried to encourage people who weren't into the arts to get involved.
The idea was to stock hand-made one-off items of jewellery, clothing, sculpture and artwork as well as anything else that was interesting and original.
I organised several 'Live Illustration' events at the gallery which went down really well with all sorts of people getting involved. Check out the pictures here:
